It was 6.30pm and the bus turned into Orchard Road from Bugis area. If I did not know better I would probably have thought I was no longer in Singapore. 25% of the people were white, 10% were Indians, right in front of me were 2 groups of Japanese. I spoke with one of the Japanese girls, she was joining her friend a Japanese guy who was going to attend Chinese language class! I actually like having a nicely mixed crowd in Singapore. What I hate is the lack of space. We must have more LAND!

I boarded the train at the peak hour of 6pm yesterday 2nd of September 2010. This view in the photo was what I saw. For a while I had a glimmer of hope may SMRT did not screw up so much after all. The glimmer of hope was short lived. By the time the train reached Commonwealth MRT station, the train was once again packed like a can of sardine.

This is one of the many private detectives located right in the heart of town that specializes in catching cheating spouse. Seems like private detective agencies to catch cheap spouses are quite profitable nowadays. The rates range from $2,000 to $3,000 over a period of one to two weeks

This is one of the few things my cousin told me to that night over dinner. First and foremost read this book called the Stock Investor’s pocket calculator. While understanding the contents within this book will not gaurantee that I make lots of money in the stocks market, it at least helps me to avoid throwing money away in the stocks market unnecessarily. Next word of wisdom from invest time in at least 2 of the 5 classes of investment assets available in the world.

I decided to ask my cousin Johnson out for dinner last week and he asked that I pop by at his office in the Central Business District (CBD) area to meet him. Thus I did. The area in front of his office looks really chilled and relaxed. It was rather different from the usual CBD I know of. This view I took in the photo does remind me of how it looked like when I was back in Dusseldorf Germany while visiting Wiebke.

After our meeting with the AIC, me and Jim decided to cruise along the West Coast Highway on our way back to Clementi area. He was really fascinated with the view we saw. He had every right to do so. Looking from a new perspective, this stretch of road does look pretty cool if you are cruising along it for the first time. It reminds me of Daytona the racing game. I wonder why the F1 racing route does not come here.

After dinner we headed over to this premium karaoke lounge at level 3 of iluma shopping center called the K Suites. The room was posh looking however the room was fucking cold. It felt like a freezer that most of the guests were shivering when they stepped into the room. I think the management knew of this issue that was why stacks of blankets were placed near the entrance. The guests hurriedly took the blankets and covered themselves until they started their really wild partying.
